Experience and skills required for the job

a. Bachelor Degree from an accredited College or University in Public Health/ Environmental Health or Restaurant/ Hotel Management with certified qualifications in the field of Hygiene and Sanitation or extensive Industry Experience in the field of Food Processing Food Safety.
b. At least five (5) years industry experience, with an established record of job-related continuing education in the field of Food Safety and Sanitation.
c. Excellent written English skills.
d. In-depth knowledge of relevant Health and Hygiene regulations.
e. Proficiency in IT, especially MS Office.

Job duties

1. Monitoring of compliance of operational work flows in accordance to Food Safety Management System (FSMS).
2. Conducting of daily routine inspection in accordance to Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points HACCP, Service Quality Management SQM, Standard
Operating Procedures, Integrated Pest Management IPM, Control of Substances Hazardous to Health COSHH and Operational Health and Safety OHS standards.
3. Inspecting, monitoring and verifying Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS) and Quality Management Systems (QMS) based on relevant national and
international standard.
4. Monitoring concession areas operation and facilities, storing and distribution of food, beverage, and supplies deliveries; monitoring menu nutritional compliance
and Concession related safety and security matters.
5. Monitoring regular reporting and logging standards, including immediate corrective action reporting in case of interruption and malfunctions and maintenance of equipment and time - temperature reporting.
6. Demonstrating presence during operation and performing administrative work.
7. Conducting training classes and courses on Sanitation & Hygiene and other food related operational topics.
8. Administrating of catering staff Health Procedures and record keeping.
9. Performing other miscellaneous duties as directed by the Supervisor.
